Parvathy Baul is a young performer who has immersed herself in the oldest style of Baul song and dance performance. Having travelled extensively throughout West Bengal to meet different Baul and Fakir Masters to share knowledge and songs with them, Baul has developed into one of the very few women who has successfully withstood the hardships of the practitioner’s way of living.
